Dimensions and native-scale fit
Upper shapes retain the supplied S/M/L dimensions. Lower shapes are Boolean modifications of the corresponding upper STL, with a full-height, posteriorly open tongue space. The neck is blended to the handle interface. Scan scale is never changed to force a fit.
There is no single universal S/M/L dental-tray size. The lower body dimensions below use one traceable manufacturer reference: COLTENE President, catalogue page 2 (June 2013). Width is the posterior outer width; body length excludes the neck and handle; height is the overall tray height, not wall thickness. These are reference dimensions, not a claim about the most frequently purchased sizes across brands.

The GC COE manufacturer catalogue lists several numbered lower-tray families with different size labels and dimensions. Premium Plus also distinguishes extra-small and extra-large lower trays. These references support using an explicit product family as the dimensional basis, rather than averaging incompatible products. No market-share dataset establishes a universal “most common” dimension.
Native-scale fit comparison
Large is selected for both scans. Coverage is calculated in that best-fitting size. S/M optical derivatives do not inherit the large-tray percentages.

These are bounded pose-search and sample-clearance results for the two provided scans. The selected L poses also received the full mesh-edge intersection audit. They do not establish population-wide fit.
Download tray bodies
The lower reference length describes the envelope before the tongue-space subtraction. The remaining horseshoe arms end slightly earlier. Actual full mesh extents below include the retained neck; they should not be compared directly with the catalogue body length.
